Rotakids Garden Project

One of the main projects our Rotakids have been working on has been the development of the Wildlife Areal. Originally they thought they would plant some bulbs the improve the area, however after consultation with Jim McColl from Beechgrove Garden we went for the idea of raised plant beds. The group had a talk from AWPR and they mentioned they had a lot of wood that could be recycled. It was then agreed that the senior pupils at Northfield would be able to use this wood to build the boxes. After a lot of organisation and a lot of hard work from all we managed to get the boxes installed on Wednesday. We now are in the process of sourcing plants and bulbs for planting.
